Former coach of Lokomotiv Moscow Marko Nikolic are not currently considering offers from Russia, the most possible options to pursue the career of a Serbian specialist are Partizan and Haifa’s Maccabi, Sport24 report.
– It’s now unrealistic for Marko to return to the RPL as the Serbian specialist wants to be able to play in European competitions. For now, he has refused all offers from Russia and is open to European clubs. This summer, the most possible options for furthering Nikolic’s career could be Serbian Partizan or Haifa’s Israeli Maccabi, a source from Nikolic’s entourage said.
Nikolic is 43 and has not coached since his dismissal from Lokomotiv. The Serbian specialist worked at Lokomotiv from 2020 to 2021, winning the 2020/21 Russian Cup with the team.
