Murat Sancak, president of Turkish club Adana Demirspor, said the head coach Vincenzo Montella leaves the team.
The 48-year-old Italian specialist is coming to the end of his contract with the club.
— We will not continue cooperation with Montella. Our paths diverge. I wish good luck to both parties,” Milliyet quotes Sanjak.
Montella took over the reins of Adana Demirspor in the fall of 2021. Last season, the team finished fourth in the Turkish Championship.
At the start of the 2022/23 season, Russian striker Artem Dzyuba played for the team. He managed to play five matches in all competitions and scored one goal. In November, Dzyuba terminated the contract with the club and returned to Russia.
According to Turkish media, Montella is set to take charge of Fenerbahce.
