“The thought of leaving these people, this city, these supporters, my group and my friends for the night, makes me feel like a lump in my throat.
I arrived in Bari on tiptoe, not knowing anyone, unaware of what might happen in the future.
They welcomed me with the utmost simplicity, boundless love and many smiles.
The thought that I will never see or experience these moments has been tiring me for days now. Trying to explain what we all went through together, united from day one as a group, would be impossible.
Any word would be superfluous to convey what we were. We were not just a group, but a family in every sense.
We shared moments of joy and pain, supporting and enduring each other. Always united, to the very end, supported above all by an indescribable fan base day after day.
Losing it all hurts more than losing a game in the 90s, because in life you win and you lose. You feel the pinch, you get up and keep giving more and more.
