Arsenal is negotiating with Chelsea on signing midfielder Kai Havertz. The German footballer is not opposed to leaving the London club.
After positive contacts with Havertz, Arsenal started negotiations with Chelsea representatives. The Blues want £75m for the midfielder. The Gunners don’t want to pay that amount for a German midfielder.
Recall that the Gunners continue to negotiate for West Ham midfielder Declan Rice, the Londoners are ready to offer 100 million pounds for the player.
Earlier it was reported that Real refused to acquire Havertz because of the too high transfer fee of the player. The Madrid club continues to follow the player, Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti is interested in transferring the German midfielder.
Havertz made 47 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions last season, scoring nine goals and providing one assist.
Arsenal finished second in the Premier League this season, while Chelsea finished 12th in the standings.
