Youth leaders will be able to join the Rotan team the day before the start of Euro 2023
Head coach Ukrainian national team Sergey Rebrov does not plan ahead of time to release the leaders of the youth team to the location of Ruslan Rotan’s team to prepare for the European Championship 2023.
According to TaToTake, the goalkeeper Anatoly Trubindefender Ilya Zabarnymidfielder Georgy Sudakov and winger Mikhail Mudrik will be able to join the youth team after the national team’s match against Malta.
The Blue-Yellows will play a Euro 2024 qualifier against Malta on 19 June. Thus, Trubin, Zabarny, Sudakov and Mudrik will arrive at the location of the U-21 team on June 20, the day before their opening match at Euro 2023 against Croatia.
Earlier, Rotan announced the list of players who will take part in the training camp in Austria. There are 25 players on the main roster in total.
The Ukrainian national team U-21 got into group B at Euro 2023, where they will play with Romania, Croatia and Spain. The two best teams from each quartet will advance to the playoffs of the European Youth Championship. Euro 2023 will take place from 21 June to 8 July.
