Former head coach of Spartak-2 Yevgeny Bushmanov answered when asked how the defender’s injury will affect Tomas Tavares at the Spartak game.
Tavares suffered a cruciate ligament injury in the Portuguese youth team.
– Tavares was a player in Spartak’s starting line-up recently. On the other hand, the position in which Tomasz plays is not key. There is someone to replace him. At the start of the season, Denisov and Khlusevich played on the flanks. Of course Tavares is a loss as he is in the starting line-up, RB Sport quote Bushmanov as saying.
Tavares moved to Spartak in the winter of 2023. During this time he played 18 games for the Red-Whites, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
