President “Barcelona” Joan Laporta has admitted the club are struggling to negotiate a contract extension with Ousmane Dembele .
Earlier, the striker himself said that the club offered him a contract until 2027.
– Dembele is a player who likes the coach and me a lot. I am his big fan. But it is extremely difficult to negotiate with its representatives. They enter into dialogue at the last minute. The dialogue continues. But I think they will drag it out until the end of the transfer window. We want to keep it, — quotes the words of Laporta RMC Sport.
Dembele has been at Barcelona since 2017 and is under contract until the end of next season.
In the 2022/23 season, Dembele has played 30 games in which he has scored eight goals and made seven assists.
