The Ukrainian lost in straight sets to the fourth seed Shang Junchen from China
Ukrainian tennis player Ilya Marchenko lost in the second round of the ATP Challenger Tour 75 in Chicago (USA).
Ilya lost in two sets to the fourth seed Shang Junchen from China. In the first game, the Ukrainian led with a score of 5:3, but lost four games in a row. In the second set, Marchenko also failed in the end, giving up two of his serves in a row.
Recall that Marchenko reached the main draw of the tournament in Chicago, having overcome two rounds of qualification. In the first round, Ilya defeated Dane Sweeney from Australia.
Earlier, another Ukrainian tennis player Vitaliy Sachko beat Michael Vrbensky from the Czech Republic in the second round of the tournament in Romanian Iasi. In the quarterfinals, the Ukrainian will face Hugo Gaston from France.
