Mikhail Mudrik about the first period in London Chelsea
Winger of London Chelsea Mikhail Mudrik spoke about his adaptation in England and admitted what he had to face in Foggy Albion. According to the player, he was under serious pressure.
“It all started with finding two videos. The first was when I was 15 years old. The second – filmed two years ago, where we sing songs … She made a racist out of me. I moved to another country, it’s very hard here, insane pressure, and it all starts with finding some kind of video …
“Before that, everything was fine, but when I moved [в Челси] became abnormal. And there were a lot of such examples, and all this accumulates, and at a time when the team had poor results, it still overlapped. It was very hard to move away from all this, because every day something new: either you play football wrong, then you are a racist, then a video of some 16-year-old titcock of you is found and they say: “How can this strange one cost 100 million ”, Mudryk said in an interview with Roman Bebekh for the Bombardir YouTube channel.
“People often don’t understand the pressure that professional athletes face. And the more interesting the sport, the greater the pressure. More people watch, know more about him and follow the replacement. Most people think that playing football is easy: you go out on the field and run for 90 minutes. Many of them don’t see much. I am already silent about some of your individual problems that you may encounter in your life. But that’s another matter. I’ll just say: it’s better for people to judge someone than to put themselves in his place.
Mudryk joined Chelsea from Shakhtar in January and signed an eight and a half year contract. The winger made 17 official appearances for the Blues in all competitions last season, providing two assists. In the 2022/23 season, Chelsea finished 12th in the Premier League and did not qualify for European competition.
