The Bulls conceded in the first half, but crushed the opponents after the break
RB Leipzig destroyed in his field Stuttgart in the second round match Bundesliga – 5:1.
The guests opened the scoring in the first half, Seru Guirassy scored. The Bulls could not bounce back until the break, and at the very end of the half, the head coach of the hosts, Marco Rose, received a yellow card.
In the second half, Leipzig turned the tide of the fight. Benjamin Henriks equalized, while Dani Olmo and Lua Openda set a comfortable lead for the hosts three minutes apart. The rout was completed by Christian Kampl and Javi Simons, who chalked up a goal and two assists.
Leipzig took their first win of the new Bundesliga season. Stuttgart, also with three points, suffered their first defeat.
Leipzig will play Union away on 3 September next. Stuttgart will host Freiburg on 2 September.
