Athletistic/ Football. Today, August 25, began the sixth round of the RPL. It was opened by a duel between Orenburg and CSKA. It wasn’t very spectacular. The first half passed with virtually no chances to score, except for Fedor Chalov’s one-on-one exit with the Orenburg keeper.
The second half still brought goals. In the 50th minute, Moises gave CSKA the lead. Anton Zabolotny collected the ball in the penalty area, reached the forward and hung it in the goalkeeper’s box. Moises jumped high and sent the ball into the far corner of the opposing goal with his head.
In the 70th minute, “Orenburg” still managed to equalize the score. Lucas Vera excelled. Sidorov made a pass down the left flank, Mansilla came forward and cut serve into the goalkeeper’s, and Vera ran and hammered the ball into the bottom corner of the opposing goal without interference.
Thus, the match ended in a 1:1 draw. It was the debut of new Orenburg coach David Deogracia. At the same time, Orenburg remain an RPL underdog, with two points to their name. CSKA is fourth with ten points.
