The presentation of the first team took place last night in Piazza Verdi, filled with more than a thousand fans. Trieste are now ready for their league debut on Monday 4 September at 20:45 at Rocco against Trento.
The host of the event, Guido Roberti, opened the event by calling on the stage a football legend from Giulia such as Toto De Falcon, who stated that he was “happy to have the opportunity to take part in the presentation, because he was invited by an organization that respects the history of Triestina and the city. The team is very revitalized and it will take time to find the perfect match, but I tell the guys to give everything for these people, because what you give, you get back, multiplied by a hundred.”
Naturally, the President was present. Ben Rosenzweigon this occasion, together with the Vice President Chris Hatter. The number one halberdier, who is currently in Trieste with his family, said that he literally fell in love with this city, adding that he would watch his debut in the championship. Then a message to the fans: “I’m looking forward to the match on Monday night and I hope that there will be a lot of fans too.”
