Athletistic/Football. Former Lokomotiv president Olga Smorodskaya has singled out Spartak head coach Guillermo Abascal as the main culprit for the team’s recent failures in the Russian championship.

“The Red and Whites started the season well, winning the first three rounds of the RPL, but in the next four matches they only managed to score one point.

“Spartacus” is not currently playing at the highest level. Guillermo Abascal believes everyone but him is to blame, but I believe Abascal is responsible for Spartak’s failures. He knew his opponents well, so he had to be ready,” Smorodskaya said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Spartak currently have 10 points and are in 9th place in the standings, 7 points behind leaders Krasnodar. In the 8th round, the Abascal team will go to the away game against Sochi.
