The Leverkusen club spoke about the situation with the transfer of the Ukrainian midfielder.
Mikhail Mudrik may not move to Bayer this summer. Recall, earlier it was reported about the agreement between Leverkusen and Shakhtar regarding the transfer of the Ukrainian midfielder, but the German club reported that this information is not true.
Bayer sporting director Simon Rolfes said the prospects for the move were somewhat vague.
“The issue with Mudrik remains open. We’ll see how it develops. I can’t say more,” Rolfes was quoted as saying by Transfermarkt.
It should be noted that earlier there was information that Mudrik had agreed to a personal contract with the German club, and Bayer and Shakhtar had verbally agreed to the transfer. The amount of compensation is 21 million euros. However, it was later learned that the Pitmen wanted to get more money from the sale.
