Dnipro-1 player was associated with Genoa
Midfielder of the Dnipro-1 and the national team of Ukraine Alexander Pikhalenok reported that he had not received transfer offers from European clubs. Earlier, Italian Genoa showed interest in the 25-year-old player.
“At the moment I am a Dnipro-1 player, so all my thoughts are connected with this team. I will make every effort to help Dnepr-1 solve all the tasks that will be set for the team. I will also try to gain a foothold in the national team,” Pikhalenok said.
“During the time that I am in Dnipro-1, I have not received any offers from European clubs. Everything was hearsay. No specifics.”
Last season, Pikhalyonok played in 16 matches for Dnipro-1, scoring six goals and four assists. Also, the midfielder this year made his debut in the national team of Ukraine.
The last Premier League championship was ended ahead of schedule due to the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. SC Dnipro-1 finished the season in third place and will play in the Europa League qualification.
