The match took place at the Olympic Lewis Companies Stadium in Barcelona and was officiated by a team of referees led by Radu Petrescu of Romania. The hosts won with a score of 5:0.

In the 11th minute, Barcelona midfielder Joao Felix opened the scoring with a precise shot in the corner after a pass from Ilkay Gundogan. In the 20th minute, Félix assisted Robert Lewandowski, who doubled the hosts’ lead. Two minutes later, the ball bounced off Antwerp defender Jelle Bataille and flew into the Belgian team’s goal.

In the second half, Barcelona scored two more goals against the Champions League debutant. In the 54th minute, Gavi scored the hosts’ fourth goal and in the 66th minute, Félix scored twice, scoring with a header from Raphinha’s cross.
