The German champions progressed further in the tournament, beating Preussen Munster from the third division on the road.

Bayern easily qualified for the 1/16 of the German Cup. To do so, the reigning national champions had to beat Preussen Munster from the German third division.

According to Bayern & Germany, Bayern fans hung a banner that read “No to the Super Cup in the opening week of the (German) Cup.”

Together they threw a tennis ball on the field. Therefore, the Munich team had to pay a significant fine: 65 thousand euros – 350 euros for each of the 185 balls thrown on the grass.

Regarding the result of the match itself, Bayern easily defeated their opponents 4:0, while playing with a semi-reserve squad.
