Less than a month and a half after making their league debut against Empoli, the Ligurians are gearing up for what will be a major crossroads of the season given the various changes that will take place over the summer. The first, according to Gotti himself, will be a module that is likely to move from a four-man defense to a system with three central players if the new coach’s feelings are confirmed from the first days of retirement. And if Spezia opts for what appears to be a three-man defense, the new centerpiece will be one of the absolute priorities on the market.
