Coach Minaya praised his players for the draw with the Poltava team
Head coach Minaya Vladimir Sharan commented on the result of the match with Vorskla (0:0) in the 13th round Ukrainian Championship.
“If we take into account that we lost the first half of the match with Veres in the fight, then today we were determined not to lose in this component to Vorskla. Especially considering what the weather was like today. This was probably the main task today, because we understood that we were inferior to our opponent in skill,” Sharan said.
“But the guys showed character, fought, tried their best, and I have no complaints about them in this component. In technical terms, we see that we have enough problems. But still this is a very important point gained for us.”
Minaj remains in last place in the UPL with 6 points. Transcarpathians have not yet managed to win a single match of the current championship. In the next match, Sharan’s team will play away against Kolos on November 10.
