Zarya lost to a team from Israel in the Conference League, which did not play for more than a month

The Ukrainian team failed to take points in the game with Maccabi.

On Thursday, November 9, in the fourth round of the Conference League group stage, Zorya met Maccabi from Tel Aviv.

The Ukrainian team got off to a terrible start, conceding in the seventh minute of the game, but the problems of the Lugansk team did not end there. At the end of the half, the Israeli team hit the opponent’s goal twice more, bringing the score to a devastating one.

In the second half of the game, it was expected that the Lugansk team would wake up and begin to gradually reduce the gap, however, the guests did not give up.

Zara managed to survive in the 57th minute, but the goal was disallowed due to offside. Later, nominal hosts will still reduce the space, but this will not affect the overall picture.

In the remaining time, Zarya made several attempts to win back, but the match ended with Maccabi winning by two goals.

It should be noted that the team from Israel has not practiced playing since October 5 due to the events in the Gaza Strip.
