The opponents of Rebrov’s team will be determined on November 23, and the matches will take place on March 21 and 26
Failing to beat Italy in the match of the last round of Group C, Ukrainian national team missed the opportunity to get directly to Euro 2024.
Now Rebrov’s team has an alternative route – through the Nations League playoffs. Let us remind you that this option was opened up for our team by Scotland and Serbia, who were able to qualify for the European championship directly and thus, as it were, “transferred” the right to the playoffs to the next ranked LN.
In March 2024, Rebrov’s team will be waiting for the “final four” of division A or division B – this will be decided by a draw.
In case of getting into the playoffs of Division B, the opponents of the Ukrainian national team are guaranteed to be Bosnia and Herzegovina and Israel, as well as Finland or Iceland.
If we get into the playoffs of Division A, our team will have to compete with Poland and Estonia, and also, most likely, Wales.
The playoff draw will take place on November 23. The matches of the two rounds of the final qualifying stage are scheduled for March 21 and 26 next year.
