In the second half, Manchester United scored the third goal thanks to a precise strike from Scott McTominay. Galatasaray came to its senses and managed to level the score: first, Ziyech scored a double, and then Kerem Akturkoglu, who came on as a substitute, scored his goal.

After this match, Manchester United scored four points and remained in last place in the standings of their group. Galatasaray is in second position, but has played one match more than Copenhagen.
