English “Manchester City” beat the Serbian “Star Zvezda” during the away match of the sixth round of the group stage of the Champions League.
The Group G meeting took place in Belgrade and ended with a score of 3:2 in favor of the guests. City’s goals were Micah Hamilton (19), Oscar Bobb (62) and Kalvin Phillips (85, penalty). For the hosts, former Rubin player In-Bong Hwan (76) and Aleksandar Katay (90) scored.
The English club scored the maximum possible 18 points in the group stage, winning six times, and qualified for the round of 16 of the tournament in first place.
Crvena Zvezda finished in fourth place with one point and ended their performance in European competition.
