The 2024/25 season will be Everton’s last at Goodison Park.

The old stadium has been home to the Toffees since 1892

Everton officially announced that from the 2025/26 season the team will play on new stadium. So the next campaign, 2024/25will be the last for the Liverpool club at the old stadium Goodison Park.

Construction of Everton’s new arena is on schedule and should be completed by the end of 2024, according to the club’s interim chief executive and stadium development director Colin Chong.

The club decided to move in the summer of 2025 “after considering numerous commercial, logistical, sporting and fan factors.” It is reported that feedback from fans, with whom the club has recently regularly consulted, played an important role in making the historic decision.

The official announcement of the move was made a year and a half in advance – which, according to the club, will allow for a “worthy send-off” at Goodison Park, which has been the Toffees’ home ground since 1892.

Everton currently occupy 17th place in the Premier League, just above the relegation zone. At the same time, Sean Dyche’s team actually scored 23 points in 16 rounds, but the club was punished by 10 points for violating financial fair play rules.
