Minaj went into the winter break in last place in the table, without victories and with six points in his asset
Head coach Minaya Zeljko Ljubenovic spoke about the team’s plans for the second part of the 2023/24 UPL season.
“We are going on January 11th. The first, inclusive gathering will be held in Uzhgorod. Perhaps we’ll fly to Turkey later. This will be finally known shortly before the New Year.”
At the end of the first part of the season, Minaj managed to part with a number of players. Goalkeeper Alexander Bandura, defenders Dmitry Nemchaninov and Igor Soldat, midfielders Mikhail Gechev, Valery Rogozinsky, Sergei Panasenko, Vladimir Odaryuk and Andrey Ralyuchenko, forward Oleg Vishnevsky, as well as defenders Alexander Melnik and Yuri Kravchuk left the team.
Minaj went into the winter break in last place in the UPL. Zeljko Ljubenovic’s team was unable to play the match with Dynamo in the 16th round due to a prolonged air raid. Minaya’s fight with LNZ has also been postponed to 2024.
