Minai began preparations for the second part of the season UPL 2023/24.

Head coach Zeljko Ljubenovic has 14 players at his disposal who remain under contract. A number of potential recruits are also in training. The first test match, in which only players on trial will play, will take place on Sunday, January 14.

At the end of the first part of the season, Minaj managed to part with a number of players. Goalkeeper Alexander Bandura, defenders Dmitry Nemchaninov and Igor Soldat, midfielders Mikhail Gechev, Valery Rogozinsky, Sergei Panasenko, Vladimir Odaryuk and Andrey Ralyuchenko, forward Oleg Vishnevsky, as well as defenders Alexander Melnik and Yuri Kravchuk left the team. The first incoming transfer for Minaj was defender Kirill Prokopchuk.

Minaj went into the winter break in last place in the UPL. The Transcarpathian team was unable to play the match with Dynamo in the 16th round due to a prolonged air raid warning. Minaya’s fight with LNZ has also been postponed to 2024.

In 15 matches, Minaj drew only 6 times, suffering nine defeats. The Transcarpathians are six points behind the transitional matches zone and nine points behind the saving 12th place.

Minaj’s next calendar match is to play against Dnepr-1, the base date is February 24.
