Krivbass went on a winter break as the leader of the UPL
Mentor Krivbassa Yuri Vernidub reacted emotionally to statements in the media that the Krivoy Rog club would count on the “help” of referees in the second round of the UPL.
“Well, let’s see: in 17 rounds, how many times have people sympathized with us? And if we are talking about the second round, then probably someone knows something. Let them reveal this secret to me too, because it has become very interesting.”
“But I have another answer. And I know which clubs will now get involved and really work with the judges. I think I’ll guess better what kind of clubs these will be [чем журналисты]. Krivbass plays the way it can and knows how. The club has never worked and will never work with referees. The game is even more interesting when the referees do not help, but judge what it is. If it is there, then it is there. If it doesn’t exist, then there’s no need to invent it.”
The Krivoy Rog club will go to Spain on January 13 for a training camp. The Vernidub team has ten sparring matches planned in Spain: among the opponents will be the English Brentford B, the Hungarian Ferencvaros, the Danish Viborg and the Spanish Murcia.
Krivbass went to the winter break as the leader of the UPL. Yuri Vernidub’s team scored 34 points and is ahead of Dnepr-1 in additional indicators. Krivbass will play the next official match with LNZ, the base date of the 18th round is February 24.
