Vorskla held the first sparring at the 2024 winter training camp. The Poltava team won a major victory over the Azerbaijani Sabah – 3:0.
Vorskla opened the scoring at the end of the first half through the efforts of Igor Perduta. After the break, Brazilian Felipe and Ruslan Stepanyuk scored.
Sabah is a club in the Azerbaijani Premier League, which ranks eighth in its championship after 18 rounds.
Let us remind you that Sergei Dolgansky’s team has planned eight sparring sessions at the Turkish training camp in Antalya. Confirmed opponents include Kaisar (Kazakhstan), Lappi (Kosovo), Nasaf (Uzbekistan), Termalika (Poland) and Gangwon (South Korea).
Vorskla finished the first part of the championship in seventh place, with 23 points. In the 18th round of the UPL, the Poltava team will play away against Zorya. The base date of the tour is February 24.
