Shevchenko met with the heads of PFL clubs

The participants discussed the development of the league and its interaction with the UAF

President of the Ukrainian Football Association Andrey Shevchenko held a meeting with club leaders Professional Football League.

The meeting was also attended by the head of the PFL Alexander Kadenko, the first vice-president of the UAF Pavel Boychuk, the general secretary of the UAF Igor Grishchenko and the head of the UAF Professional Football Committee Oleg Luzhny. The participants discussed issues of league development, current topics in professional football in Ukraine and interaction between the UAF and the PFL.

Let us remind you that Shevchenko also planned a meeting with the clubs of the Ukrainian Premier League. It will also be held at the Football House on February 22, starting at 12:00.

Shevchenko was elected the new president of the UAF on January 25. The team of the new head of the Association also included Pavel Boychuk, Sergey Rebrov and Alexander Shevchenko as vice-presidents.

Ekaterina Monzul became the new head of the UAF Arbitrators Committee. The UAF Executive Committee also supported the proposal to oblige Ukrainian referees to undergo a polygraph examination and introduce a system of drawing lots for referee appointments for matches.

In early February, the new UAF president attended the UEFA Congress, which took place in the capital of France. There, Shevchenko, in particular, met with UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin in order, as Andrei himself wrote, “to discuss the next steps of the new leadership of the UAF and preventing the return of Russian teams to international competitions.” The Ukrainian also met with FIFA head Gianni Infantino.
