Ukrainian tennis player Yulia Starodubtseva continued successful performances at the tournament WTA 125 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Yulia managed to make it to the third round of the competition, winning in two sets over American Sachia Vickery, who had previously beaten the first racket of the tournament, Slovak tennis player Anna Karolina Šmidlova.
The fight lasted almost two hours. Starodubtseva started by taking both of her opponent’s first serves and bringing the set to its logical conclusion – 6:3.
In the second game there was an equal fight. In the tenth game, Vickery served for the set, but the Ukrainian broke on her third attempt. The result is 7:5 and advancement to the next stage, where Julia’s opponent will be Australian Tayla Preston.
