Head coach Ukrainian national team Sergey Rebrov On March 8, he will announce the team composition for the training camp dedicated to the qualifying playoffs for European Championship 2024.
The mentor’s press conference will take place at the “House of Football” in Kyiv and will begin at 12:00. In addition to announcing the team’s application, the coach will answer other questions from journalists.
Earlier, the list of the official delegation that will go to the away match against Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Euro 2024 qualification, which will take place in Zenica on March 21, was published. It included 32 players (six of them are on the reserve list). The Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) stated that the list is a preliminary application and not an actual application.
Let us note that Dynamo players Vladimir Brazhko and Andriy Yarmolenko were completely absent from that squad, and their teammates Nikolai Shaparenko, Vitaly Buyalsky and Vladislav Vanat, as well as Shakhtar goalkeeper Dmitry Riznyk, were only included in the reserve.
Let us remind you that Ukraine will compete with Bosnia and Herzegovina in the semi-finals of the European Championship qualifying playoffs. If successful, Sergei Rebrov’s team will meet with the winner of the Israel-Iceland confrontation. The final match will be a “home” match for the blue-yellows and will take place on March 26 in Wroclaw, Poland.
Euro 2024 will take place in Germany from June 14 to July 14, 2024. The matches of the European Championship will be held in arenas in Berlin, Cologne, Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg, Leipzig, Munich and Stuttgart.
