Zarya lost to Dynamo on a difficult field
Trainer Zari Mladen Bartulovich commented on the team’s performance in the match with Dynamo (0:2) in the 21st round UPL.
“Congratulations to our young guys on their debut. They played very well today. They have a future.”
“Saputin played well. He saved us in many episodes. In my opinion, Alexander Saputin is the future of the Ukrainian national team.”
“There are different reasons why so many newcomers came out. There were a lot of loanees who did not have the right to play. That’s why there’s such a composition.”
Let us note that in the match with Dynamo, four players from Zarya’s youth team (Egor Kapustyan, Bogdan Tokar, Evgeniy Pisarenko, Artem Dolbnev) were in the first team, playing their first match in the UPL. Also making their top-level debuts were Nazar Bayruk and Guilherme Smith, who appeared as substitutes.
The fight in Kyiv took place on a snow-covered field. Dynamo’s victory was brought by goals from Vladislav Vanat and Denis Popov.
Zarya is in 12th place in the UPL with 19 points. In the next round, Yuri Koval’s team will play Metalist 1925 on March 29.
