The Ukrainian team made it to the continental football championship for the fourth time
President of the Ukrainian Football Association Andrey Shevchenko addressed the Ukrainian national team after reaching Euro 2024.

The Ukrainian national team defeated Iceland in a strong-willed manner in the final of the playoff qualifying for Euro 2024 (2:1). The blue-and-yellows conceded in the first half, but snatched victory thanks to goals from Viktor Tsygankov and Mikhail Mudrik after the break.
Sergei Rebrov’s team will play in a quartet with E with Belgium, Slovakia and Romania. The Ukrainians will play their first match against Romania on June 17.
Ukraine will play at the European Championships for the fourth time. The blue-and-yellows have consistently competed in the finals of the continental championship since 2012.
