Athletistic / Football. Zenit defender Nino believes that Zenit, in their current form, could reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League. Due to UEFA sanctions, Russian clubs will no longer be able to participate in European competitions from February 28, 2022.
“My dream is to play in the Champions League. It seems to me that the current Zenith could reach the quarter-finals of this tournament,” Nino said, quoted by Match TV.
Nino was a Fluminense player from 2019 to 2023. During this time, he played 239 matches for the Rio de Janeiro club, scoring 12 goals and contributing 5 assists. The 26-year-old Brazilian’s contract with Zenit runs until June 30, 2028.
