The Ukrainian was injured in the match with Mallorca
Head coach Valencia Ruben Baraja commented on the injury of the Ukrainian striker Roman Yaremchuk in the match with Mallorca (0:0).
“It feels like a puncture, but I don’t know the scale. The feeling is that when Roman tries to make an effort, something breaks, but we don’t know. Let’s hope it doesn’t last long. He came with very positive energy, emotions, and trips with the national team. It’s a shame because he was in good shape.”
The Ukrainian entered the starting line-up of the Bats. But already in the 17th minute Roman left the field due to injury.
This season, Yaremchuk has played 25 matches for Valencia in all competitions, scoring four goals. The forward scored a goal and an assist in the match of the Ukrainian national team against Bosnia and Herzegovina in the qualification for Euro 2024.
Valencia is in eighth place in the La Liga standings. In the next round, the Bats will play against Granada on April 4.
