Athletistic / Football. Spartak Moscow has responded to rumors regarding the search for a new head coach.
Spartak general director Oleg Malyshev spoke. He stressed that every club always has a plan B. He himself does not know how many candidates there are in this regard. But there was no contact with former Krasnodar coach Vladimir Ivich and Braga coach Arthur Jorge. As long as Guillermo Abascal is part of the team, it is inappropriate for the club to discuss other candidates.
“It is incorrect for me to answer the question of the number of candidates in this regard. But we have not had contact with the Braga coach. Has there been contact with Ivic? You and “I’m going around in circles. We currently have Abascal. I can’t confirm any contact,” Malyshev added.
Yesterday, Spartak Moscow lost at home to Zenit with a score of 1:2 in the first match of the Russian Cup in the RPL. In the Premier League itself, the red and whites have never won a match this year. Moreover, in the RPL, Spartak still cannot score a goal. The Muscovites have two draws (with Zenit and Ural) and a defeat against Fakel.
