There was a lot of pressure, Italian football was very difficult. less freedom on the field and football was very tactical. Even though we had all these champions we didn’t win much, having a lot of champions doesn’t guarantee victory and that’s what happened to us. The President had a passion for the great players, he often bought several players for the same role. Today I think with pride that I played alongside many of the best strikers in the world.”
