The second defeat of the blue-yellows left the team outside the final stage of the European Championship
Youth women’s team of Ukraine lost to her peers from Czech Republic in the second round of the 2nd round of selection in League A Euro 2024 WU-19.
Both teams played the match on equal terms, but the Czech Republic managed to turn their chance into a goal: Sladka scored in the 71st minute.
The blue-yellows suffered their second defeat in the reporting stage of the tournament. At the start of the 2nd round of qualifying, Natalia Ignatovich’s team lost to France (0:2). Ukraine will play the final match of the group with Norway on April 9.
According to the regulations, the winners of the seven groups of League A will join the Lithuanian national team (the host of the tournament) in the final stage of Euro 2024 WU-19, which will be held from July 15 to 27.
Teams that finish fourth in League A groups will begin the first round of the new 2024/25 season with a lower rank in League B.
