“In addition to Zenit, Krasnodar and Dynamo Moscow, CSKA and Lokomotiv can also compete for medals in the Russian championship. These two teams will set the goal of entering the top 3 of the RPL. Density in the ranking is high it seems to me that these are the five teams that will fight for the podium,” Gazzaev said, as quoted by Sport-Express.
Zenit has scored 47 points in 23 matches and confidently leads the RPL. Second-placed Krasnodar is four points behind the blue-white-blue team. Capital “Dynamo” with 38 points closes the top three. CSKA is in fourth place with 37 points, ahead of Lokomotiv in terms of additional indicators.
