The working group of the Ukrainian Football Association examined the stadiums in the west of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian Football Association continues to prepare for the UPL championship under martial law. According to the organization’s official website, the UAF working group has inspected sports arenas that claim to organize UPL matches.
First of all, we studied the state of stadiums in the west of Ukraine. In particular, three stadiums in Lviv (“Ukraine”, SKIF, “Arena Lviv”), two – in Uzhgorod (“Vanguard” and “Minaj”) and the Ternopil city stadium.
“According to my information, Vorskla, Dnipro-1 and Metallist are planning to play in Uzhgorod with Minai, in Lviv, in addition to local teams, Shakhtar will be based, in Kovalivka, the local Kolos will be joined by Chernomorets .Other Clubs are talking to the stadiums and the local military administrations,” said UAF Vice President Vadim Kostyuchenko.
It should be noted that the final permission to hold football matches in the city must be given by the local military administrations together with the State Emergency Service. The start of the new Premier League season is scheduled for August 23.
