Carol Portaluppi shared her father’s rescue on social media; Grêmio commander was isolated and incommunicado in a hotel in Porto Alegre
Renato Gauchotechnician at Guildwas rescued by a team of volunteers last Monday, the 6th. The commander was stranded and unable to communicate in a hotel in Porto Alegre, in the capital of Rio Grande do Sul. His daughter, Carolina Portaluppiwho also leads campaigns to help flood victims in the State, shared the rescue.
“I’m posting my father here because I was so distressed that I didn’t want to share with you what I was feeling! God thank you, I’m not in contact with him because he doesn’t have a phone. Thank you to whoever is giving me news here”he wrote on his Instagram.
After the rescue, Renato was transferred to another hotel and is safe. The tragedy in Rio Grande do Sul took Grêmio, the International and the Youth to request the CBFthrough Gaucho Football Federationthe suspension of its games on the national calendar for the next 20 days.
