Athletistic/Football. In the 28th round of the RPL, Dynamo played an incredibly tense match with Baltika. There was intrigue in this meeting until the very end.

After just three minutes of play in Kaliningrad, Dynamo clearly took first place in the RPL. Lichka’s team scored from the first kick! Konstantin Tyukavin stood out.

Baltika bounced back in the first half. Only a quarter of an hour before the break, the Kaliningraders hit their first shot on target – and Leshchuk went for the ball out of the net. This turned out to be a curious goal. Henriques scored the opposing goal.

After the break, the ball remained stuck between the penalty areas – neither Dynamo nor Baltika brought their attacks to a clear conclusion.

However, in the middle of the second half, the hosts’ attack ended with a cool pass from Lisakovich, who dominated Balbuena and Marichal, and a goal from Kaplenko. The goal was disallowed for offside, which was not the case. The judges’ error was corrected thanks to modern technology.

The Blue and White not only saved themselves, but also snatched victory. First, Roberto Fernandez made a targeted header. And Ngamalyo brought the three points to Dynamo in the 9th minute of stoppage time.

Dynamo scored 53 points and took first place in the standings by beating Zenit Saint Petersburg (51 points). Baltika (26 points) occupies 15th place.

Ngamalyo spoke about Dynamo’s deliberate victory over Baltika

Here’s how he reacted to his team’s victory Marcel Licka:

“To be honest, I thought the team could finally create some chances. We managed to equalize the score. I wanted the team to calm the game down in the last minutes. But Ngamalyo scored the third goal.

When you score in the last minutes of two games, it shows the character of the team and the dressing room. I am very happy. What can I say ? Emotions are high. You know Krasnodar lost points, Zenit lost and we can win, it’s a dream… We will try to continue moving towards this dream in the next round,” Lichka said.

Sergei Ignachevich said his defendants lacked competence and reliability.

“First of all, there is a lack of skill and reliability. Yet when the ball bounces five times in the penalty area, that’s skill.

In the end, unfortunately, mistakes were made in key episodes. In general, the guys played well, stuck to the plan, created chances, could have scored and should have won, but they didn’t survive in the end,” Ignashevich said.

Now the fate of the championship race depends entirely on Dynamo. Marcel Lička could make history. There are two meetings left to hold. On May 18, the Blue and White will host Krylia Sovetov and on May 25, they will play away against Krasnodar.
