Athletistic / Football. On May 15, 2024, Vladimir Slishkovich ceased to be the interim head coach of Spartak. Since last Thursday May 16, the Bosnian has been announced in the RPL as head coach of the red and whites.

According to Sport-Express, the Spartak management was forced to take such a step due to the RFU rules for licensing football clubs in the Russian Federation. The news of Guillermo Abascal’s dismissal was published by the press service of the capital club on April 14. On the same day, it was announced that Vladimir Sliskovich would prepare the red and white team for the upcoming matches.

According to RFU rules, a Bosnian can only serve as interim head coach for 30 days. Therefore, after the deadline, the club was forced to either appoint him as head coach or find another specialist who met all the necessary criteria. As a result, on May 16, the decision was made to appoint Sliskovich. That is why the Bosnian already played the match of the 29th day of the RPL with Rubin Kazan (3:1) as head coach.

Note that last week, we learned that from the 2024/2025 season, Dejan Stankovic would be the head coach of Sparatka.
