Al Nasr striker Cristiano Ronaldo broke the Saudi Football Championship record for the most goals in a season.
On Monday, Al-Nasr defeated Al-Ittihad at home in the 34th final round match of the Saudi League. The match ended with a score of 4:2, the guests played in the minority from the 66th minute. Ronaldo spent 74 minutes on the pitch and scored a brace. The Portuguese reached 35 league goals, surpassing the record of Abderrazak Hamdallah, who scored 34 goals in the 2018/19 season.
In the season that ended, Ronaldo, 39, also made 11 assists.
“Al-Nasr” took second place in the championship, the title was won by Al-Hilal.
