Athletistic / Football. On June 7, a friendly match between the national teams of Belarus and Russia will take place on the field of the Dynamo stadium in Minsk. This will be the second meeting for Valery Karpin’s team in 2024.

The starting whistle of the main referee of the match, Kazakh Rustam Omarov, will sound at 20:00 Moscow time. In Russia, the meeting will be broadcast live on the federal television channel “Match TV”, as well as on its channel official site.

Note that the Athletistic site will host an online text broadcast of the meeting between the Russians and the Serbs.

The national teams of Russia and Belarus have faced each other four times in recent history (after the collapse of the USSR). At the moment, Russian footballers have won two victories and two more times the matches ended in a draw.

It is worth noting that the Russian team will play its second match with the European team since November 2021. Over the past two and a half years, the Russians have only played friendly matches due to FIFA sanctions and UEFA.
