Napoli offered 35 million euros for Dovbik

Atletico and Milan are following the player

Napoli continue to work on the transfer of the Ukrainian forward Girona by Artem Dovbik.

The Italian club made a request of 35 million euros for Dovbik. The decision then remains with Girona and the player himself.

Napoli’s direct competitor remains Atletico, with whom Artem supposedly has an agreement in principle. Artem can become a player at Atlético, where the player himself aspires, for an amount of 40 million euros.

The other day it became known about Milan’s interest in Artem. The Rossoneri have been communicating directly with representatives of the Ukrainian national team player for more than a month, and Dovbik’s candidacy was personally approved by the Red-Blacks’ management consultant on selection policy, Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Dovbik moved to Girona from SK Dnepr-1 in August last year. The Catalan club paid about seven million euros for the transfer, receiving just over 50% of the rights to the player.

Dovbik’s current contract with Girona runs until 2028. The club is actively working on a new agreement for Artem, in which it intends to stipulate a guaranteed buyout amount for the player in the amount of 100 million.

At the end of the 2023/24 season, Dovbik became the top scorer of Examples. Artem scored 24 goals, scoring a hat-trick against Granada in the last round.

Girona finished third in La Liga and will play in the Champions League for the first time in history. Atlético finished fourth in the Spanish Championship.
