Like midfielder Chernenko earlier, Rostislav renewed the agreement until the summer of 2025
Obolon officially announced the extension of the contract with the striker Rostislav Taranukha until June 2025.
The Dynamo graduate became a Brewers player last summer. Previously, he played for Sumy, Polesie, Kremen and Carpathians. Last season, the 27-year-old forward played 33 matches for Obolon in all tournaments. Taranukha scored three goals and gave one assist.
Last week information appeared that Kolos was showing interest in Rostislav.
Earlier, the Kiev club extended the contract with another main performer – midfielder Ruslan Chernenko (also for a year). At the same time, their top scorer last season, forward of the youth and Olympic teams of Ukraine Igor Krasnopir, will leave Obolon in the near future. According to Brewers President Alexander Slobodyan, the club has reached an agreement in principle with Rukh on the sale of the player.
Obolon took 14th place in the UPL 2023/24. In the transition matches, on aggregate, the Brewers beat Left Bank and retained their place in the elite division.
