Ilya was ahead of Dynamo player Voloshin and teammate Slyubik in the voting
Ukrainian Premier League continues to name the winners for the 2023/24 season. According to the results of a survey of club representatives, the best young player was a winger Rukha Ilya Kvasnitsa.
Ilya’s colleague took second place in the voting Nazar Voloshin from Dynamo, third – another Rukh footballer, defender Bohdan Slyubik.
For 21-year-old Kvasnitsa, last season was a breakthrough one. While not always getting a place in the starting lineup, he nevertheless played all 30 matches in the UPL, in which he scored eight goals and the same number of assists.
He also scored a goal in two matches of the Ukrainian Cup, as well as two goals and an assist in six qualifying matches for the Youth European Championship 2024.
At the end of the season, Rukh took sixth place in the UPL, losing to Dnepr-1 and Polesie in the fight for European Cup places.
