As Sport Arena previously reported, Khust will compete instead of Druzhba in the competition
Professional football league Ukraine has announced the composition of participants First League season 2024/25.
18 teams will take part in the tournament. As in the last season, they will be divided into two equal subgroups. Let us note that among the participants there is no Druzhba, the champion of the Second League last season. As Sport Arena reported, her place was taken by Khust, who avoided being demoted.
- Group A:
Agribusiness, Bukovyna, Epicenter, Metalist, Minai, Niva (Ternopil), Podolia, Prykarpattya, Khust
- Group B:
Victoria, Dinaz, Zvyagel, Left Bank, Metalist 1925, Kudrovka-Niva, Poltava, FSK Mariupol, YuKSA
The Kharkov derby is not expected at the first stage. Metalist and Metalist 1925, who were forced to host opponents outside their hometown, were placed in different groups according to geographical principles.
Let us remind you that 23 clubs will play in the Second League next season, which will also be divided into two subgroups.
The base day of the 1st round of the First League is July 25, 2024.
