Netflix released this Monday the trailer for “LALIGA: Além do Campo”, its
first sports documentary series in Spain. The episodes delve into exciting stories, such as the spectacular journey of Girona FC this season,
who won a place in the Champions League and the search for Xavi
Hernandez for Barça’s title.
The series will show the daily lives of the season’s great players, such as Antoine
Griezmann, Iker Muniain, Ivan Rakitic, Take Kubo, Alvaro Morata, Isco, Memphis Depay,
Nico Williams It is Robert Lewandowskiamong many others. The documentary, created by
production company Morena Films, is scheduled for release on July 15th and will feature eight
episodes, in which fans will discover LALIGA like they’ve never seen it before.

Alex Martinez Roigexecutive producer of the series with Juan Gordonboth from
Morena Films, say: “We are excited about the unique stories that will be seen in
series. We cover contemporary themes such as mental health, struggles against the established order, ageism, commitment, overcoming serious injuries… and
always with a player or coach as the main character”.
